ABOUT GOD'S COUNTRY KIDS

For over 12 years a dynamic group of young people have been blessing others with their God given talents. These young people are ages pre-school to young adult. They perform for nursing homes, retirement centers, senior citizen centers, children's homes, hospitals, etc. These kids use their musical abilities to bring smiles and laughter to our friends that are lonely and needing a special lift in spirit. Who are these special young people? They are God's Country Kids (GCK). You're probably wondering just what they do. The GCK performance coordinator books several shows a month and 8-10 of the approximately 100 performing kids in the group sign up for performances. They generally sing solos, some are accomplished instrumentalists, and some are dancers and like to do drama. Once you've seen these children perform, you'll know they are some of the best entertainment in the metroplex, and they perform from the heart.

The goal of GCK is to teach young people to give of themselves in a way that not only blesses the receiver, but also blesses the kids with lots of hugs, smiles, appreciation and warm hospitality. These kids grow and are encouraged in a very positive aspect concerning entertainment, while they build good Godly character. These children are our future; the world is a better place because of them. The long range goal for GCK is to expand throughout the state and move into national performances. Currently God's Country Kids have performed over 1500 shows.
